Born and raised in Kenya, Leakey is known for his kindness, humility, and friendly nature. His journey into humanitarian work began in 1999 when he became involved in Miss World Kenya, one of the country's largest charitable pageants. This experience taught him the importance of humility and gratitude for life’s blessings.
Since then, Leakey has championed numerous causes across Kenya. He has supported children living with HIV/AIDS at Nyumba Children's Home and worked with the Homeless Center, a haven for young girls from slums and streets. As chair of a committee overseeing a music concert, he helped raise funds for victims of the 1998 American Embassy bombing in Nairobi. Leakey has also collaborated with actress Lupita Nyong’o to advocate for people with disabilities in Kenya. Over the past five years, he has worked closely with Glad’s Center, raising funds to support education and provide essential food supplies.
A lover of nature, Leakey spends his free time exploring Kenya's diverse landscapes, from its majestic mountains and serene lakes to the vast Rift Valley and northern Turkana, believed to be the birthplace of humanity.
Driven by a vision to leave the world better than he found it, Leakey remains dedicated to his mission, working tirelessly to make a positive, lasting impact on his community and beyond.
